BlockchainUa conference. My quick overview
I attended this conference, watched the speakers' reports, talked with project representatives, assessed new tendencies and trends.
Several platforms for discussion were presented at the conference: main, presentation of projects, and technical block.
I was impressed by the list of projects and experienced speakers. From the stage of the BlockchainUa conference, about 50 eminent speakers made presentations, 5 panel discussions were held. The organizers prepared excellently - the conference was attended by many people, the reports turned out to be informative and useful.
At the very beginning of the conference, Pavel Kravchenko spoke about the tokenization of real assets. Company Distributed Lab, co-founded by Pavel, developed a software package for asset tokenization TokenD. This product allows you to tokenize any real asset in a short time and with minimal investment. Pavel shared his experience and vision of the prospects for tokenization with the audience, spoke about the difficulties and prospects of this direction.
I tried to hear all the speakers I was interested in, so I periodically moved from hall to hall. Along the way, I met with friends and colleagues, discussed new trends and projects.
Gordon Eisten, Joe Chai, Frank Roessig, Meinhard Benn, Dan Doney, Sam Williams, Benjamin Jones... the list of foreign speakers can be listed for a very long time.
Pavel Kravchenko, Mikhail Chobanyan, Roman Sulzhik, Roman Oleinikov, Nikita Knysh, Alexander Momot, Pavel Brilliant, Lasha Antadze, Alexander Ivanov... in fact, a lot of speakers talked about their work and their projects. It is very difficult to list all the speakers, and it was simply impossible to attend all the performances.
BlockchainUa conference gives answers to many questions
How to tokenize intellectual property rights? Accounting for crypto assets. Meeting new challenges with decentralized consensus. Bypassing two-factor authentication in the Ukrainian style, phishing, fraud and blackmail. Costs of decentralization in blockchain projects. Blockchain use in the internet of things, games and robonomics.
Alexander Momot spoke about the main problem of blockchain projects - they are incomprehensible to big business. I specially posted a short video in this review. In it, Alexander talks about this main problem of blockchain technology.
What problem does blockchain solve??
The answer to this question should be the main one for each of the organizers of startups using this technology. It's time for smarter investments and more professional teams. Under the words "blockchain"and" smart contracts "it is very difficult to get money.
Therefore, before using these words, the organizers need to show where in the startup economy these technologies will be used. We need to prove that these technologies will really help solve user problems. It is necessary to convince representatives of large business that the startup team is able to implement their plans.
In his report, Lasha Antadze spoke about the use of blockchain in a real startup project shelf.network, which creates a distributed network of auctions that allows to handle the overall liquidity of stocks among interconnected trading platforms and gives sellers the ability to conduct / control the same auction throughout the network.
BlockchainUa without KUNA exchange? It's impossible!
One of the expected and bright speakers of BlockchainUa 2019 was the founder of the KUNA crypto exchange - Mikhail Chobanyan. In his speech, Mikhail told the story of the creation of the exchange, the problems of its formation, shared plans for the future. Today, while writing this review, I learned that the Kuna Exchange application is now available for download on the appstore - this is one of the latest achievements of the Kuna Family.
BlockchainUa and Internet of Things conference
For me as an Ambassador and Delegate the project IoTeX of particular interest was the report of Alexander Ivanov from the company 482.solutions. Alexander's report was devoted to the options and ways of using blockchain technology in the Internet of Things niche, the robot economy, and in the gaming niche. After the presentation of this speaker, I talked with the guys from the project team about the application of IoTeX technology and its compatibility with IOT modules.
Pavel Brilliant dedicated his talk to blockchain technology and asset tokenization. Pavel's report was built around the problems of blockchain integration into real business projects, solutions were considered to eliminate these problems. Pavel knows what he is talking about, because he has extensive experience in Distributed Lab. He is well acquainted with the problems of tokenization, and with the issues that need to be resolved for its successful implementation in business processes.
As I wrote above, the BlockchainUa 2019 conference was very rich in eminent speakers. Even a brief description of all the performances takes a lot of time. Therefore, I recommend everyone to plan a visit to BlockchainUa in a year - in 2020. Better to see once than read and hear a hundred times.
BlockchainUa and IoTeX
I really want the time to come and the project IoTeX presented his paper at this conference. Ukraine is rich in developers software solutions and their consumers. The Internet of Things is a very promising direction. People need blockchain for IOT, it makes the Internet of Things safer and more reliable for users. The IoTeX team already has blockchain solution at the stage of intensive testing. To implement its plans, the project has everything it needs - a development team, money, community. And most importantly, there is a need for IoTeX developments. All these components make it possible to look to the future with optimism. It means that IoTeX on BlockchainUA is not a fantasy, but a natural stage of development!
